Team introduction: The Namibia national men's football team is the national football team of Namibia. It is managed by the Namibia Football Association and is currently a member of the International Football Association and the African Football Confederation. Namibia has participated in the African Cup of Nations three times, but has yet to participate in the World Cup finals. Team History The Namibia national men's football team began to participate in international and continental football competitions in 1992, including: 2:1 victory over Mali in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers in 1994; 2:0 victory over Mozambique in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers in 1996; 1996 African Cup of Nations qualifiers. Defeated Botswana and Kenya 6:0, 1:0; defeated Liberia 2:1 in the African regional match of the World Cup qualifiers in 1997; defeated Kenya 1:0 in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers in 1997; defeated Kenya in the 1998 African Cup of Nations qualifiers. Defeated Malawi 2:1, 1:0; defeated Seychelles 3:0 in the African regional match of the World Cup qualifiers in 2000; defeated Benin 8:2 in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers in 2000; defeated Madagascar 2:1 in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers in 2001. The Namibia national women's football team began participating in international and continental football competitions in 2000.
