Serie A giants AC Milan are pushing forward with their coaching change process, with former Premier League manager Oliver Glasner emerging as their top priority. Following Glasner's conclusion of his coaching duties in England, the two sides have entered into in-depth negotiations, with the club having submitted a two-year contract to the Austrian coach, including a third-year renewal option. His annual salary is expected to range between €3 million and €4 million. It is understood that Glasner himself is open to the idea of taking charge of this traditional Serie A powerhouse. The final decision at the club level rests with owner Gerry Cardinale, who will form a coaching search committee alongside club legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic and technical director Massimo Carlavelli to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of multiple candidates. Besides Glasner, the shortlist also includes names such as Matthias Jaissle and Ruben Amorim, while the team of former Real Madrid player Alvaro Arbeloa has also been in contact with Milan recently. Despite the presence of other contenders, Glasner remains the overwhelming favorite to take over the Rossoneri, and he is awaiting the final decision from Milan's management.
