Celtics center Kosta revealed that he focused on refining his shooting technique during the offseason, aiming to help the team create more offensive space, while also improving his decision-making when handling the ball, his ability to score independently, and his defensive positioning and communication. Kosta praised Boston as "the best city in the United States for Europeans to live in," saying he feels like he is home there. He previously signed a four-year, $56 million contract extension with the Celtics. In the 2025-26 playoffs, Kosta averaged 9.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 0.6 assists, and 0.9 blocks per game.
