Nazi Salute Sparks Heavy Penalties! 16 Roma Fans Face Bans of Up to 5 Years

According to L'Equipe, 16 Roma fans performed fascist-style salutes during Roma's Serie A match against Atalanta, with some also wearing T-shirts glorifying Nazism. They have been sentenced to stadium bans ranging from 1 to 5 years. The bans cover all Italian stadiums, as well as Roma's away matches and Italy national team games. An additional 4 fans are required to report to local police stations during matches. Prosecutors have confirmed that some of the individuals involved are linked to organized crime and extremist networks, and far-right tendencies are relatively common among ultra fan groups in Italian football.
