65-Year-Old Legend Emerges! Tite Signs Three-Year Deal with Botafogo, Setting Sights on Team Rebuild

Botafogo Football Club has officially announced that 65-year-old former Brazil national team coach Tite has been appointed as head coach, with the contract running until December 2028. Tite previously served as head coach of the Brazil national team from 2016 to 2022, leading the squad through two World Cup campaigns in 2018 and 2022, and guiding Brazil to victory in the 2019 Copa America. Tite had been out of work since departing Cruzeiro in March of this year. The club's statement noted that the move to bring in Tite is aimed at providing a central driving force for the team's rebuild.
