According to reports by LegionHoops, Mark Cuban recalled the experience of DeAndre Jordan verbally committing to the Dallas Mavericks in 2015 before changing his mind. Cuban said the team waited for Jordan at a hotel to no avail, made phone calls that went unanswered, and subsequently went to his residence only to find no response. The incident became one of the NBA's most notorious free agency meltdowns. Ultimately, Jordan failed to honor his verbal commitment and re-signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.
