Rummenigge Rarely Abstains as Eber's Contract Renewal Exposes Internal Rift

Bayern sporting director Eber has extended his contract until summer 2029, but the supervisory board did not unanimously approve the renewal. Former CEO Rummenigge abstained at the end-of-August meeting, expressing a critical stance toward Eber's work and refusing to unconditionally support the decisions of Hoeness and Hainer.
