Barnes Tops Postseason Rim-Assist Chart with 4.3 Per Game Average

Data firm Stat Defender released the 2025-26 postseason average rim-assist statistics on September 18. The metric reflects how directly a player's assists contribute to teammates' scores near the basket. Scottie Barnes led the chart with 4.3 rim-assists per game, followed by Nikola Jokic with 3.8 in second and Jrue Holiday with 2.8 in third place. Joel Embid ranked fourth with 2.7 rim-assists per game. Cade Cunningham, Karl-Anthony Towns, and De'Aaron Fox were tied for fifth with 2.6 apiece, Dante DiVincenzo placed eighth with 2.5, and Deni Avdija and Stephen Cassell were tied for ninth with 2.4 each.
