Mbappe Rejects Adidas and Puma, Ends 19-Year Nike Deal, Secures On Equity Stake to Enter Football

Mbappe has signed with On, becoming its first football shoe ambassador and receiving company equity, ending his 19-year partnership with Nike. On previously collaborated with Federer and has since appointed Henry as its football director. Henry played a key role in convincing Mbappe to switch to On after his Nike contract expires in summer 2025. Mbappe declined offers from Adidas, Puma, New Balance, and Skechers. On co-founder Allemann revealed that the football shoes will be released to retail in 2027 and positioned as premium products. On also extended its partnership with Barcelona player Sidney Shertenleib.
