Tottenham right-back Pedro Porro was forced off with an injury in the 16th minute during the match against Aston Villa, just after returning from a previous injury layoff. Spain head coach De la Fuente has included him in the latest squad list and is now awaiting the results of Tottenham's medical team's assessment. If Porro is unable to report for duty, Sporting CP's Ivan Fresneda is a potential replacement. A product of Real Madrid's youth academy, Fresneda can play both right-back and centre-back, fitting the coach's requirements. The final injury status will be announced after further examinations by Tottenham.
