Spain Government Halts U20 Friendly: Security Alarm Triggered

According to COPE radio journalist Isaac Fouto, the Spanish government has advised the U20 national team to cancel a friendly match against Mexico U20 in Ceuta. The match was scheduled for September 30, and the Ministry of Interior has requested the football federation to cancel it citing "security reasons." The football federation has not yet made a formal decision, but the government has clearly called for the cancellation.
