Spanish media reports indicate that the new deal includes a pay rise, with his salary expected to rank among the top five national team coaches in the world. He took charge in early 2023, remained unbeaten to win this summer's World Cup, and has also claimed the 2024 European Championship and the 2023 UEFA Nations League titles.
