Carrick Hails 'Perfect Night' as Manchester United Return to Champions League with 4-0 Win

According to reports from Manchester, Manchester United manager Michael Carrick described the team's first home match since their return to the Champions League as a "perfect night" as the Red Devils comfortably defeated visiting Sabah FK.

The emphatic win also set a good foundation for Manchester United's upcoming local derby against Manchester City on Sunday. Carrick's side have only collected four points from their first three league rounds, and after being held to a stoppage-time draw by Everton last time out, they desperately need to show greater fighting spirit against their cross-city rivals.

"Looking at the points alone, this is clearly not the start we expected," Carrick admitted. "Everyone knows we wanted to take more points from the league. But judging from our performances, we have seen many positive signs, which is encouraging. There is still room for improvement, though.
