West Ham United Football Club

West Ham United Football Club (English: West Ham United Football Club) is a traditional English football club located in Newham, East London. It was founded in 1895 and was originally named "Thames Ironworks FC". It changed its name in 1900. The team's home ground is Upton Park. In 2006, they narrowly lost to Liverpool and finished second in the FA Cup. The official name of West Ham United's home stadium is Boleyn Ground. The team moved to the current site in 1904. A local school is said to be the former residence of Anne Boleyn, so the stadium was named Boleyn Ground. But now most people use Upton Park, where the stadium is located, as the name of the stadium.
