Racing Club de Lens

Lens is located in northern France and has a population of only 70,000. The Lens club was founded in 1906 by a group of middle school students who loved football, but it was not registered until August 18, 1907. The team participated in the competition for the first time in the 1907/08 season and officially became a professional club in 1934. In 1998, Lens defeated Metz with 68 points and won the Ligue 1 championship in the 1997/98 season. Leclerc, who coached the team, is undoubtedly the most successful coach in the history of Lens.
