Chelsea Officially Announce Portuguese Talent Signing: Quenda Signs Until 2034

Chelsea Football Club has officially confirmed that Sporting Lisbon starlet Geovani Quenda has completed his transfer, signing a long-term contract until 2034. According to media reports, the two clubs reached a preliminary agreement as early as last year, with the total transfer fee potentially reaching up to €52 million (approximately $59.4 million). Quenda remained on loan at Sporting Lisbon last season, and now, a year after transfer rumors first emerged, the young player has finally donned the Blues' jersey.

This signing is part of Chelsea's overall plan to bring in Sporting Lisbon duo Quenda and Essugo for a package deal worth up to $81 million. The 19-year-old Portugal U21 international can play multiple positions, including winger or wing-back.
